Easter Egg Hunt

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's house is so fun! It started with the kids hunting for the eggs that Uncle Kris and Grandpa hid away. All the grandkids love the hunt. I have to say that it was super difficult for me to not "play". I am so competitive, that I am sure some of the kids would have gone home crying because Auntie Karla got all the eggs. So, I stayed back with the other adults, and all the kids were happy. The Easter Egg hunt was followed by good food, and great company.

Baptism

Our biggest little man was baptized on Easter this year. Chris and I had been talking with him for awhile about it, and we really wanted to make sure he knew what it was all about and that he wanted to be baptized because he believed in what he was doing. He stood in the big tub with Pastor Larry and answered the questions that Larry asked so that everyone could hear. We are so filled with joy in his desire to follow Christ.

I wanted to put a video on here but can't figure out how to transfer video from the camcorder yet. Here are some pictures, sorry for the fuzziness, my eyes were a bit blurry at the time and I didn't realize that I was not fully focused. :)

sledding with friends

The kids had great fun sledding with the Coke's. In this video Tucker is riding with Riley and they crashed in a hole at the end of the hill. Tucker ended up with a pretty huge goose egg on his head, So, I apologize for the laugh at the end my dear boy.

The Taurus

When I sold my Taurus I had a spare set of tires for it, but I could only find 3 when I handed over the keys. I found the other tire and went to deliver it today and happened to ask how the Taurus was running. He said he put a new windshield in it for $250.00 and had the radiator flushed for $75.00. He said it fixed the heater and now everything's perfect. PERFECT you hear that. He said he's just 50 miles away from 300,000 miles. Good for him. Good for Bob buying my car of 8 years and fixing the heater for $75.00 and pushing it to 300,000. Good for good ol' BOB. Congratulations to him!...... I SOOOOOO happy for BOB and his NEW CAR. I'm so happy that I can't stop crying, I'm so happy I'm laughing through my tears.
